The 2023-24 NFL preseason begins on August 3rd when the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns meet in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. That’s two weeks out, but already, Super Bowl sportsbook sites have NFL betting lines posted for the opening game.
New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns
- Point Spread: Jets +1.5, Browns -1.5
- Moneyline; Jets EVEN, Browns -120
- Over/Under: 33.5
Betting during the preseason can also be done on Super Bowl futures that include all 32 franchises. Here are the current NFL futures for Super Bowl LVIII.

Last year’s Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, are once again favored to hoist the Lombardi Trophy next February. If these NFL odds prove correct, it will be the third time that KC has won the Super Bowl in five seasons.
The most likely contender from the NFC is the Philadelphia Eagles, who lost to the Chiefs in SB 57. They are trailed closely by the San Francisco 49ers, a team that seems to come up just short of championship glory each season.

Even though the big game is just under seven months away, odds are on the boards for betting on the Super Bowl Halftime Show and which performer will headline.
The Killers lead a star-studded pack of contenders and actually have a negative moneyline at the moment. They played a concert prior to Super Bowl 57 at a pre-party in Tempe, Arizona, leading sportsbooks to believe that they’ve got the inside track for a 2024 halftime headlining gig in store.
While not listed with any real potential for success, there are odds for an Elvis impersonator and Wayne Newton. This is because the game is being played in Las Vegas, but there’s no real shot at either headlining despite the chance they could make an appearance.
Don’t forget, the outcome of this Super Bowl prop bet could result in a performer that’s not listed, which also results in losing wagers all around.
